Why We Exist
Awaken Global Ministries exists to build and maintain a cooperative network of independent, self-governing local churches and licensed ministers united by a common statement of faith and a shared commitment to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Our Purposes
What We're Called to Do
Build the Network
Create a thriving fellowship of independent churches and ministers who walk together in accountability and shared mission — without surrendering local autonomy.
Issue Credentials
Grant ministerial credentials — licenses, ordinations, and certificates — to qualified individuals who affirm our beliefs and meet biblical standards.
Provide Oversight
Offer pastoral support, accountability, and practical help to affiliated churches and credentialed ministers across our network.
Advance the Gospel
Promote and support evangelism, church planting, missions, and Christian education — both in the United States and internationally.
Develop Leaders
Organize seminars, conferences, training programs, and other ministry development activities to equip the next generation of Gospel workers.
Steward Resources
Receive, hold, and manage gifts, offerings, and property in support of ministry purposes — locally, regionally, nationally, and globally.
Reaching Every Corner
The Fellowship maintains a Ministry and Benevolence Fund to support Gospel work at every level — from local congregational needs to international missions. All funds are kept in separate accounts from operating funds.
Congregational benevolence, food and clothing assistance, community outreach, crisis relief, and local church planting.
Cooperative evangelism, church planting, disaster relief, and mercy ministry by affiliated churches in a geographic region.
Domestic church planting, prison ministry, addiction recovery, inner-city outreach, and Gospel-centered mercy and justice work.
Cross-cultural missions, indigenous church planting, Bible distribution, humanitarian relief, and global evangelism.
